Susan Magaziner is a Board Certified Special Education Advocate™, Fellow and veteran civil rights and education consultant. She is a strategic advisor to parents and their students navigating complex and high stakes educational issues. Her specialties include conflict resolution, crisis intervention, strategic counseling and all things school and education related. Susan is an experienced federal complainant and has decades managing federal and state investigative processes on behalf of clients. She was a formerly in the financial sector for over 25 years and brings this expertise to her work.
Susan attended Loyola University Chicago School of Law, Civitas Child Law Center and Montclair State University’s Robert D. McCormick’s Center for Child Advocacy and Policy in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of Social Work and Child Advocacy. Susan has received her Graduate Certification and Master’s degree in Child Advocacy and Policy and was inducted into the Alpha Epsilon Lambda Honor Society, Alpha Kappa Chapter, as conferred distinction for high achievement and demonstration of leadership in her field. Susan was among one of the first class of females to graduate from Lehigh University and holds a B.A. in Government and Journalism from that institution.
Susan is a member of the Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates (COPPA) and the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC).
